Clay Center Fluorite and Celestine

Know for their root-beer/honey colored Fluorites, the Clay Center location in Ohio has been closed for mining Fluorites for many years. These Fluorites display an excellent yellow/white fluorescence under both short and long wave UV light, and are also phosphorescent, meaning they hold the glow of the UV light for a couple seconds.

This particular piece is a nice, larger formed cube, at 5.2 x 5 x 4.3 cm. Paired with white Celestine crystals.
